Soliton IT is pleased to announce their appointment as RIS provider in the large-scale project with GE Healthcare and Kent & Medway Medical Imaging Consortium (KMMIC), where 3 Trusts opted to replace their former GE RIS with Soliton IT’s Radiology+.

The KMMIC consortium, consisting of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, Medway NHS Trust and East Kent Hospital NHS Trust, was formed in 2011 to optimise investment into Radiology IT best-practice. The group performs 1.2million exams annually, with numbers ever increasing as clinical demand in the region grows.

In December 2019, after a competitive procurement process, the consortium and GE awarded the project to Soliton IT with their class-leading Radiology+ application, which has approaching 17,000 users worldwide. A dedicated implementation programme is already underway with the KMMIC group aiming to go-live across all sites by late 2020.

Soliton IT is very excited about this latest project award and wants to give a special thanks to the GE representatives for their collaboration in recent months.
