Soliton IT’s functionality needed no further development or was not work in progress, contrary to other providers that Kingston Hospital assessed. Their Radiology+ was already fully equipped, appeared to manage much of the workflow itself and was ultimately ready to go.

I would consider this project to be a blueprint for a sector IT deployment, and would recommend that other Trusts strive to flex teams across networks in order to utilise previously-built relationships. A crucial advantage of the Soliton IT team was their established relationships within London Trusts, as well as their ability to apply learned “best practice” to the project.
