Products

Soliton IT systems are designed and built in-house by a team of very experienced software architects with over seventy man years experience of healthcare software.

Our products use Windows Presentation Foundation to create a rich user interface. They are built for Microsoft .NET Framework 4, using C# in Visual Studio 2010. Systems run on Windows Server 2008 with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Windows 7, Vista or XP clients. Server virtualization (VMWare) is fully supported as are clients running in a Citrix or Terminal Services environment.

In addition to Radiology management, the Soliton suite of products provides speech recognition, digital dication and workflow management for most healthcare departments and organisations.

We have applied our wealth of experience in the Radiology sector to develop a state of the art product for managing Radiology departments. Soliton Radiology+™ provides all the features of Soliton Reporting+™ and much more, meeting the demands of modern Radiology management and providing a complete solution for busy Radiology departments. Soliton Radiology+™ is a modern product which uses modern technology. It is process and workflow oriented and differs from most traditional RIS in this respect.

Utilising Soliton’s advanced workflow software combined with the latest software development technology from Microsoft. Soliton Radiology+™ provides a rich user interface, advanced activity monitoring with dashboards and all the functionality required for efficient clinical and business management.

Features include; patient self check-in, patient waiting area messaging, SMS & email for patients and consultants, SPR training, procedure vetting and more. Also included is Soliton's popular speech processing technology with real-time speech recognition.

Soliton Radiology+™ is IHE compliant (DICOM, HL7, XDS), process based, highly configurable and compatible with most PACS, PAS, EPR, Order Comms and Results Reporting systems.

Provides digital dictation, speech recognition and workflow for clinical departments such as Cardiology, Surgery, OPD etc.. HL7 compliant and suitable for individual departments and hospital wide deployment.

Soliton Reporting+

Uses the latest technology from Microsoft to provide an enhanced user interface with advanced workflow.

Provides speech recognition, digital dictation, workflow and activity reports. Dictations can be transcribed in-house from Soliton's flexible worklists or they can be routed to an external remote transcription service.

An HL7 interface enables automatic 'top and tail' of letters, discharge summaries etc. and makes it possible to integrate closely with department systems, hospital systems and clinic lists.
