Soliton IT launch 'Speech Console' at HIC 2006 in Sydney

21st August 2006 -- At the 2006 Health Informatics Conference in Sydney, Soliton IT announced the official release of Speech Console, a new software product developed by the Company for speech enabling existing/legacy applications.

Speech Console can be used 'out of the box' to provide real-time speech recognition for applications which run under Windows in a Philips SpeechMagic environment. It does NOT require any special interface software.

At the product launch, Director Bob Watson said:

"Speech Console has been developed as a result of end-user requirements in the healthcare market. It became apparent to us that there was a need for speech enabling existing/legacy healthcare systems without having to provide complex interfaces.  Speech console has been developed especially with this in mind.  It is easy to use and easy to deploy and complements our existing range of speech processing products"

In addition to showing Speech Console on the Company's own stand (left), Soliton IT was invited to show its products on the UK Government Trade and Investment stand.
